Sliding door (1), which is guided, so as to be movable to and fro in the direction of displacement, by means of a drive-motor unit which is arranged at a fixed location and which has a output pinion (2) engaging in a meshing manner into a rack formation (3) which is fixed to the door leaf or plinth (1) and which, for the purpose of cost-effective production, adaptability to the displacement length of the door and simple changeability of rack portions particularly prone to wear, is composed of a series of rack segments (5, 5', 5'') which are inserted in succession into a holding rail (4) extending in the direction of displacement of the door leaf and fixed to the latter and which are produced as lost-wax castings and are fixed to one another in their succession conforming to the tooth spacing. <IMAGE> |
