In a waste water treatment assembly the rate at which the dispersion flow (D, D') is introduced, is dependent upon the nature of impurities in the waste water (A). A waste water treatment assembly has a floatation basin (1) in which an incoming flow (A) of effluent water mixes with a dispersion flow (D, D') containing a continual supply gas micro-bubbles. The rate at which the dispersion flow (D, D') is introduced, is dependent upon the nature of impurities in the waste water (A). The floatation basin (2, 3) has a water inlet (4) with a mixer unit (M) where the effluent (A) meets the dispersion flow (D, D') jet (20). Each mixer (M) zone has a number of individually-operated jets (20). The direction of jet (20) inflow is variable. |
