PURPOSE: To provide a cap capable of being simply and certainly subjected to opening and closing operation and improved in the sealability at the time of closing operation by selectively engaging a ring member on the side near to or remote from the inner cock of an engaging means by rotating the ring member by a rotary means. CONSTITUTION: When the drive pawl 28 of a nozzle member 12 presses the taper surface 30 of the driven pawl 29 of a ring member 13, rotatory power acts on the driven pawl 29. When the driven pawl 29 is engaged with the second engaging stepped part 36 at the position remotest from the flange 17 of the inner cock 11 in the groove 34 provided to the inner peripheral surface of a cap housing 14, a nozzle member 12 is separated from the inner cock 11 and the main operation part 25 of the nozzle member 12 does not press a valve disc 20 to close the check valve 16 thereof. When the driven pawl 29 is engaged with the first engaging stepped part 35 at the position near to the flange 17 of the inner cock 11, the main operation part 25 of the nozzle member 12 presses the valve disc 20 of the check valve 16 of the inner cock 11 to open the check valve 16. |
