The skis each have a central curved part (4) which holds the bindings and is between the front and back contact lines (10, 11). An element (60, 70) to transmit torsion forces is fixed to each ski between the bindings and the front and back contact lines. The elements are orientated along an axis which is inclined to the longitudinal axis of the ski (1, 1'). One end of each element is fixed to the ski by screws and its other end can move freely and is held in a slot in a case fixed to the ski.
