A method for improving the manufacture of a moulding die for making an optical selector screen. A method for etching a material to make the moulding die (1) for moulding an optical selector screen, is disclosed. The geometrical shape of the etched die grooves is that of an arc segment of an ellipse (2) which corresponds to the long axis. According to the optical photographic method, the definition quality of each lens forming the optical selector may be substantially enhanced, and focusing of the photographic image may be improved. The focal length has a greater tolerance and the depth of focus is substantially enhanced. The method further enables improved picture brightness and reduced vignetting. The industrialisation of lamination is performed under optimal conditions for ensuring optical quality. The phenomena of light diffraction and reticulation are eliminated. Said method is particularly suitable for relief or three-dimensional photography. |
