The viewer comprises a transparent vessel (1a), parallelepiped or round in shape, containing a transparent or slightly coloured liquid (A), divided diagonally by a double transparent and sealed panel (B) containing a thin layer of gas, e.g. air. The sealed panel is positioned vertically in the vessel, dividing the volume of liquid, e.g. water, into two. The two stereoscopic images are applied to the outer surfaces of the vessel, the right-hand one being inverted in a horizontal direction, and both are positioned so that they face towards the interior of the vessel. The stereoscopic view is obtained by looking towards the left-hand image through the vessel.
