The packaging for cylindrical batteries is formed from a container part constituted by front (13) and rear (14) walls, a bottom (15) and a covering flap (16). The front wall has a slit (17) for engaging a tongue on the covering flap. Holes (19) are cut out in the front wall to enable viewing the package contents. Gluing points (18) are located under the covering flap on the front wall. In order to take cylindrical batteries, inside a covering wall (20) is a partition (21) with passage openings (22). A hanging part (12) is attached to the covering flap or to the covering wall. A separation line (A ) above the covering flap folding line allows easy separation from this hanging part after sale.
