An auxiliary gear train on the carrier comprises a pedestal (22), an hour wheel (25) and minute works (23,24). The choice of transmission ratios ensures that the hour hand executes two complete revolutions for each one of the glass, which is engraved with designations of the 24 time zones throughout the world.
