PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mold an insert molded item having a length longer than the longest moldable dimension of an insert molding machine. SOLUTION: Noticing that a plurality of bus bars 11 composing an insert molded item 10 are arranged approximately in series so that they are connected by a central connector 14C, tow primarily molded items 15 are molded in case of molding and the two primarily molded items 15 are connected via the secondarily molded central connector 14C to make connection portions 12 of the two primarily molded items 15 face the central connector 14C. Since a long insert molded item 10 is obtained by connecting two short primarily molded items 15, there can be achieved an insert molded item 10 longer than the maximum moldable dimension of the primarily molding mold 20 and the secondarily molding mold 30.
