PRINTED PLASTIC MOLDING AND ITS PRODUCTION

摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a method capable of forming secure printed images having excellent resistance and more particularly retort resistance and peeling resistance on the surface of a plastic molding by an electrophotographic method without forming a printing plate from printing data and a printed plastic molding and to provide a method capable of forming the printed images having the resistance to sterilizing by heating without applying deformation and damage by heat on the base of the plastic molding. CONSTITUTION: The surface of the plastic molding or plastic web which has surface tension of >=36dyn/cm and exhibits substantially no absorption in a near IR region is transferred with toners which contain a fixing resin mainly composed of an epoxy resin and coloring agents dispersed into this resin, have absorbability in a near IR region and having a softening point in a range of 90 to 130 deg.C in the form of the powder images by the electrophotographic method in such a manner that the film thickness after fixing attains 5 to 20μm. The powder images on the plastic molding or the plastic web are fixed by the near IR rays.
