PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component mounter in which holding pins can be set automatically depending on the type of a printed board. SOLUTION: The electronic component mounter comprises a control means 7 for selecting a part of a printed board 2 where no land is present or a part where an electronic component 4 is not mounted based on CAD data 5a generated by a printed board design CAD 5 and generating holding pin arrangement data, a plurality of holding pins 6a movable freely in the approaching/receding direction of the printed board 2 and drive means 7 provided for each holding pin 6a, and an automatic holding pin arranging means 6 for controlling driving of the drive means 7 based on the holding pin arrangement data to abut the holding pin 6a against the printed board 2. Since the holding pin 6a for holding the printed board 2 can be selected automatically and abutted against the printed board 2, set time can be shortened significantly as compared with a conventional case where the holding pins 6a are set manually. |
