PURPOSE: To facilitate the occurrence of deformation only in the periphery of a central part, where impact load acts, of the upper wall of a reaction can in an air bag module on a front passenger seat. CONSTITUTION: A slit 2 is longitudinally formed on the upper wall 1a of a reaction can 1 so that the central part, where inward impact load acts, of the upper wall 1a may be separated from both its end parts for cutting off the transmission of the impact load to both the end parts. |
