PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of miscommunication between adjacent lanes in a toll road charge receiving system for receiving a charge by the use of radio communication. CONSTITUTION: A gantry 2 is erected over lanes 100A, 100B, 100C and road radio equipments 3 respectively provided with antennas 26, 31 are fixed to the gantry 2 correspondingly to respective lanes 100A, 100B, 100C. A code transmitter 4 having an antenna 12 is laid under on each road surface and inherent code information 37 is radiated from the antenna 12. A code receiver 13 and an on-vehicle equipment 14 are mounted on a vehicle 36, the equipment 14 receives the code information 37, sends a radio wave to the road antenna 26 through SS modulation together with vehicle information and the a corresponding equipment 3 demodulates the received radio wave and sends the demodulated signal to an antenna controller 1. The controller 1 executes accounting processing, executes the SS modulation of the processed signal together with the code information and sends accounting information 38 to the equipment 14 through the antenna 31. The equipment 14 receives and records the information 38 in a memory. Thus the occurrence of malfunction between adjacent lanes can be prevented by the use of the code 37 inherent in each lane and SS communication. |
