<p>PURPOSE: To reduce the flowing-in of heat from outside and to stabilize the electric insulating property by filling a cryogenic liquid container with a cryogenic liquid, insulating the connection between an outgoing conductor and the conductor of a cryoresistive cable electrically, and making the insides of a vacuum container and a bushing vacuums and insulating the outgoing conductor electrically and thermally. CONSTITUTION: In the end part of a superconducting power cable 11, an LN2 container 13 filled with liquid nitrogen LN2 71 as a cryogenic liquid is provided. To the tip of this LN2 container 13 a vacuum container 15 is filled. Furthermore, to the tip of the vacuum container 15 a bushing 17 is fitted. By this constitution, the temperature gradient part of an outgoing conductor 47 and the whole of a stress cone 65 can be put in a vacuum, and the flowing-in of heat into a cryogenic region from outside can be sufficiently lessened. Besides, it becomes possible to obtain a stable electric insulating property by insulating the connection between the outgoing conductor 47 and the cable conductor 29 of the superconducting power cable 11 with LN2 electrically, and making the temperature gradient part of the outgoing conductor 47 vacuum in a state of providing a stress cone 65 in its periphery.</p> |
