摘要 PURPOSE: To read digital information from a medium with simple constitution by forming digital information on the medium as the micro information bit of light emitting material and detecting light emitted by irradiation with a light spot. CONSTITUTION: The medium 1 is obtained by forming the micro information bit 3 of the light emitting material in accordance with digital information. An information line 2 is a part where the information bit 3 is formed. The information bit 3 is formed in accordance with digital information on the medium 1 on light emitting material. A recording surface 4 is the face where the information bit 3 is formed. An irradiation part 6 performs irradiation with a light spot. A read part 7 detects light emitted from the information bit 3 of the medium and reads digital information. Thus, the information bit 3 is formed by micro light emitting material on the information line 2 of the medium 1 and the irradiation part 6 sequentially irradiates the information bit 3 on the information line 2 with the light spot. The read part 7 detects light which is emitted at that time and reads digital information.
