FIELD: materials handling; lifting of long structures in confined spaces. SUBSTANCE: device has two uprights installed on foundation for accommodating a structure to be lifted which is equipped with trunnions. Uprights have longitudinal slot pointed in direction of longitudinal symmetry plane of device. Upper ends of uprights are connected by ring member. Carriages installed in uprights are made in form of movable columns with spring-loaded hinged stops engaging with trunnions of structure to be lifted. Mounted on outer surfaces of uprights are spring-loaded hinged supports corresponding to hinged stops and engaging with trunnions of structure to be lifted. Hinged stops and supports are installed on columns and uprights at equal pitch, in pairs, being arranged in tiers. Base of each movable column is connected with rod of column lifting hydraulic cylinder. Housings of hydraulic cylinders are installed inside uprights for limited longitudinal displacement and are furnished with support members engaging with foundation.
