FIELD: drilling equipment; stand for modelling of operation of drill pipe string in inclined well; applicable in testing of whipstick-free sliding deflecting tools with novel members for the known stand for modelling, including use in the new stand of members of the tested deflecting tool itself. SUBSTANCE: new stand includes tubular model of the well, model of drill pipe string, units producing torque and axial load, model of well bottom containing rod with bearings, body on rod, contact unit and force transducers. Novelty consists in that model of drill pipe string is made in form of upper shaft of deflecting tool with releasing unit and lower shaft hinged to it, and well model is made in form of body of deflecting tool with port for extensible carriage of releasing unit and two force transducers, one of which is fixed against body port, and the other, under the lower shaft on the side of its turning. Well bottom is made with rod whose one end is joined by splines with adapter to lower shaft of deflecting tool, and the other end is introduced into the hollow of the body on it and provided with contact unit in form of ball bearings in open race pressed to end wall of the body. In so doing, the sizes of members of splined joint, rod, body hollow on rod and race are selected to ensure rolling of ball bearings over the body wall in compliance with turn of deflecting tool lower shaft. Additionally introduced into stand well model may be transducer of angle displacement of lower shaft, for instance, in form of dial indicator located on the body against lower shaft.
