<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely supply a brake actuator with necessary electric power even when one failure has occurred in a battery, a power line and a power supply line. <P>SOLUTION: This electric brake device is constituted by connecting a loop power line 12 with a main battery 20 and an auxiliary battery 21 through a main power line 30 and an auxiliary power line 31, and with first and second brake systems 120 and 121 through first and second power supply lines 40 and 41. A first relay 13 and a third relay 15 are put in between the main power line 30 and the first and second power supply lines 40 and 41, and a second relay 14 and a fourth relay 16 are put in between the auxiliary power line 31 and the first and second power supply lines 40 and 41. A relay control device 11 controls opening and closing of the prescribed relays 13, 14, 15, 16 in accordance with a failure location against either one of the failures in the main and auxiliary batteries 20 and 21, the main and auxiliary power lines 30 and 31, and the first and second power supply lines 40 and 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
