<p>A system for sensing and locating water leaks in horizontal or vertical water distribution pipes in buildings. The system consists of a leak water retaining device (7) combined with two separate electrodes (8, 9). The water establishes contact between the two electrodes connected to a central unit (12). A warning light (13) powered by the current from the electrodes (8, 9) lights up so that the leak can be located immediately. Said system is particularly suitable for preventing water damage in buildings.</p> |
