The ski has at the back one or more movable claws which press into the snow or ice as soon as the ski starts to slide backwards. The claws can be incorporated in a recessed part of the ski in the areas in front or behind the binding. The claws can be set in an area of the binding or can form one unit with the binding. The claws can be attached at the side to the ski.
