<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high power density based on the high thermal conductivity of ceramic by attaining a very narrow band using hybrid circuit technology thereby decreasing the number of soldering points normally required. SOLUTION: The electrical safety barrier, being employed as a protective device between a hazardous area and a non-hazardous area comprises a ceramic board mounting thick film printed resistors R1-R4 and other surface mounted safety device, i.e., a Zener diode. The ceramic board is sealed in a housing provided with an earth shoe body 32 for fixing the barrier to a rail.</p> |
