PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin compsn. for laser marking and to produce a product having a laser mark applied thereto. SOLUTION: A copper salt such as copper phosphate, copper sulfate, basic cupric phosphate or copper thiocyanate is contained. This copper salt is added to a thermoplastic resin compsn. in an amt. of about 0.1-5 pts.wt. and pref. has a particle size smaller than 10 μm. A laser mark can be applied so as to impart a region capable of being clearly confirmed or separately discriminated by the naked eye, pref., total color difference different from a base material at least by a delta E value of 10-20. |
