PURPOSE: To obtain a portable telephone set having high sensitivity even at the time of non-speaking, attaining compact constitution, allowing a user to easily extend an antenna by his (or her) single hand, and capable of preventing the concentration of force to a prescribed position even when it is dropped. CONSTITUTION: An antenna 2 consists of an externally exposed part 2a, a slide stabilizing part 2b and an exposure protecting part 2c, a casing 3 has a step part 3a for arranging the exposed part 2a and a hole part 3b is formed between the exposed part 2a and the stabilizing part 2b. The antenna 2 is led into the hole part 3b and slid along the face having the step part 3a of the casing 3. |
