发明名称 METHOD FOR CONTINUOUSLY CASTING STEEL
摘要 PURPOSE: To provide a method for continuously casting a steel applied under a stable mold oscillating condition in which suitable powder flow rate is secured in the wide range of casting velocity and the optimum negative strip time (tN) can always be given. CONSTITUTION: In the continuous casting method of the steel in which the powdery or granular mold powder is added to the mold and while vertically and continuously oscillating the mold and pouring the molten steel into the mold, solidified cast slab is drawn out, the mold oscillation adjusting system is adopted for giving the mold oscillation is which the time required for making the descending velocity of the mold larger than the drawing velocity of the cast slab can be kept within the suitable range in the wide range of the drawing velocity. The frequency (f) of the mold is made to be the arbitrary value of 1.6-3.8 cycle/sec (96-204cpm) (constant value or variable value in the range). The amplitude (a) (mm) of the mold is controlled so as to become a=(0.114-0.150)×Vc (mm/sec) or =(1.9-2.5)×Vc (m/min). Wherein Vc is casting velocity.
