PURPOSE: To obtain a conductive rubber roll by a rather simple method at a low cost so that the adhering and fitting state between the shaft and the rubber layer can be made firm and fixed without an adhesive. CONSTITUTION: This conductive rubber roller consists of a shaft 1 and a rubber layer 2 having conductivity formed around the shaft 1. The rubber layer 2 consists of at least two layers. The inner layer 2a (adjacent to the shaft) of the two layers is a nonfoam rubber layer, while the outer layer 2b (surface side for use) is a foamed rubber layer. The roller is produced by simultaneously and continuously extruding with plural extruding machines to form the two layers in a hollow (tubular) state, vulcanizing the two layers, and then inserting the shaft into the layers. |
