PURPOSE: To obtain soft rice cake having baked pattern, capable giving baked pattern within a short time without using oven toaster, gas heater, etc., having nice smell of baked pattern and capable of restoring to just pounded softness by only thawing. CONSTITUTION: Non-glutinous rice and non-glutinous powder are steamed up by same or different steaming machines 1A and 1B and mixed with a mixer 2 and rice cake having large water content is pounded by a rice cake-pounding machine 3 and then, the just pounded rice cake is stretched in thinner thickness than the usual rice cake and cut into a proper size at room temperature or after cooled to the ordinary temperature by the refrigerator 5 and then, the baked pattern is applied to both sides of the rice cake in order by a rice cake baking machine 7 and then, the treated rice cake is put in a freezer and rapidly frozen or instantaneously frozen. |
