PURPOSE: To prevent the service life of developer from being shortened and to provide an inexpensive developing system having a magnetic brush developing device and toner replenishment device, by eliminating conventional demerit. CONSTITUTION: This system is provided with a developing drive motor 20 being a common drive source provided for the developing device and toner replenishment device, and a one-way clutch to be connected and disconnected according to the direction of the rotation of the drive source. The developing roller 5 and a stirring roller 4, etc., of the developing device, or the toner replenishment roller 8 and an agitator 7, etc., of the toner replenishment device are driven according to the direction of the rotation of the drive source. |
