PURPOSE: To enhance the performance of an adit excavating machine for use in the underground burying and cutting works for a sewage line, city water service lines, telephone cable, etc. CONSTITUTION: At the front of a pipe 14 to be intruded to an adit, a cylindrical tuyere 16 is installed while a partitioning wall 15 is interposed, and a rotary cutter 15 is installed ahead the tuyere 16. Thus an adit excavating machine is constructed, wherein a crusher cone 70 in the form of a truncated cone rotating together with rotary cutter 25 is installed in the tuyere 16 in such a way as widening toward the back. The axis Q-Q of the crusher cone 70 is located eccentrically from the axis P-P of the tuyere 16. and a surface unevenness 71 in a shape like an external gear is furnished at the rear of the crusher cone 70. Immediately behind the surface unevenness 71, a guide cone 73 consisting of a surface unevenness 72 in the form of an internal gear and a truncated cone part situated ahead thereof 72 and continued as widening forward is installed fast in the tuyere 16. |
