PURPOSE: To increase frictional force acting on printing paper without increasing pushing force by a paper-pushing roller by a method wherein a plurality of paper-pushing rollers provided on each side along an outer peripheral surface of a drag roller driven rotatively at a peripheral speed quicker than a peripheral speed of a plate cylinder, are pushed against fringe parts on both sides of the printing paper. CONSTITUTION: A drag roller 1 is provided above a former F of a folder so as to be rotatively driven at a peripheral speed quicker than a peripheral speed of a plate cylinder. A plurality of paper pushing rollers 2a, 2b are freely rotatably provided along the outer peripheral surface of the drag roller 1 at positions opposed to fringe parts Pa, Pa on both sides of printing paper P wound on the outer peripheral surface of the drag roller 1. Then, a plurality of sheets of the printing paper P are wound by a specific angle on the outer peripheral surface of the drag roller 1. Besides, the fringe parts Pa, Pa on both sides are pushed against the outer peripheral surface of the drag roller 1 by the paper pushing rollers 2a, 2b; 2a, 2b, drawn simultaneously by rotary driving of the drag roller 1, and sent out to the former F of the folder. |
