The quality preserving agent is made by containing spices such as arysin and capsycine and one or more components selected from active carbon and calcium compound into ventilative container, made of porous ceramics and synthetic resin with ventilators. The components in the ventilative container is introduced in forms of powder or particles. The agent is packed with rice into a packing bag for rice.
