摘要 FIELD: gas-insulated, including sulfur hexafluoride, circuit breakers where arc-quenching gas flow is produced due to self-excited oscillation and autocompression of gas by piston during OFF-operation. SUBSTANCE: gas-insulated circuit breaker has contacts one of which is movable and connected to piston placed in compression cavity, insulating packing, and at least one channel connected at one end to space abutting the piston on side opposite to break contacts; novelty is that other end of channel is brought outside on insulating packing surface abutting outer surface of movable contact downstream of compression cavity on break contacts side.
