FIELD: direct synthesis of methylchlorosilanes used as starting products for synthesizing polyorganosiloxane resins, silicones and for other purposes. SUBSTANCE: process is carried out by reacting silicon with gaseous methane- chlorine mixture at molar ratio of 1 to 0.1-0.40 at 400- 600 C. Synthesis gives mixture of trimethylchlorosilane, dimethylchlorosilane, methyltrichlorosilane which are separated by rectification. EFFECT: more efficient preparation process. |
