The building section comprises a principal wall (3a), a support web (4a) located towards one end of the wall and perpendicular to it. A branch (7a) whose free end forms a stop perpendicular to the wall is connected to the wall near its second end. The branch end opposite the wall has a return (7d) which forms the stop. The section is fastened to a support by a fixing (5a) comprising two facing branches (8a,9a) connected to the principal wall by their ends and transverse to it. The two branches thus form a recess and their end parts (8d,9d), opposite the wall, come together so as to engage in a complementary structure provided on the support. A web (6a) locks the section to the support.
