<p>The invention relates to a method for channelling the transmit power in the desired direction, and to a base station (10) which communicates with subscriber terminals (14) within its coverage area, said coverage area being divided into one or several sectors (11-13), and which comprises one or several transceiver units. In order to enlarge the coverage area in the base station according to the invention, means (20) to which four antennas or an antenna group (25a-25d) forming four beams are connected, are attached to one or several receivers of the base station, the means (20) combining the signals of the subscriber terminals in the receiver direction by utilizing said four antennas or antenna group (25a-25d).</p> |
