The circuit includes an oscillation control and sync section(11) for generating a clock signal, a vertical location detector(12) for generating a vertical demension signal, a vertical dot counter(13) for generating the row address of a font ROM(21), a moving clock signal generator(14) for generating a moving clock signal and clock signal used for varying the RAM address values, a horizontal location detector(15) for generating a horizontal location signal, a horizontal dot clock generator(16) for generating a horizontal dot clock signal, a display signal generator(17) for disabling a display off signal and enabling it using the clock signal, an on-screen RAM(19) for outputting a character address and color data, the font ROM(21) for outputting row data designated to one character, ad a shift register(22) for converting the data from the font ROM(21) into serial font data. |
