METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AROMATIC POLYESTER

The polyester is composed of 20-80 mole% monomer (I), 5-40 mole% monomer (II), 5-40 mole% monomer (III) and 5-40 mole% monomer (IV). When manufacturing the polyester, 30-70% of total para-hydroxybenzoic acid is added during initial polymerization and remains of it is added when the temperature of polymerization is 280-300 deg.C, in order to prevent monomer(I) from forming blocks. This polyester can be used for film or fiber, requring excellent mechanical quality.
