The invention concerns a module for a motor vehicle and comprises a windscreen wiper system (7) and a windscreen washing system; a container (6) which is designed basically as a liquid reservoir and surrounds the windscreen wiper system (7) in an at least approximately complementary way and at the same time serves as a cover for the so-called water box of the vehicle body and is provided with a vent (17) into the vehicle interior. The module is intended for development into a module which can be delivered to the vehicle manufacturer as a unit with a wider range of functions. According to the invention, a windscreen wiper system (7) mounted on a base can be connected to the container (6) to form a unit, and the container (6) comprises several independent tanks (8, 9, 10) used for different liquids, a controllable pump (14, 15) being allocated to each tank. The comtainer (6) also has a rainwater inlet for automatic filling of the washing fluid tank (8) and a removable fresh air filter (61).
