The interruption control device detects a current level signal based on the signal received from an input device (1) by the main power supply circuit (5). If the detection signal specifies a current level, which exceeds the allowable current value I0, the minimum number of branches of the load circuit (C1-C4) required for interruption at the input is determined. The interruption procedure allows operation at the maximum allowable current value. An operational circuit (2) determines the load current to enable sourcing of current when the input current exceeds the allowable current value. The memory (3) connected to the operational circuit stores the load current value of each load circuit.
