An image signal control method and a device thereof are provided to simply control output of image information of a terminal device by only using car speed extracted by a GPS(Global Positioning System) receiver and cradle existence of the terminal device, thereby being helpful for safe driving. A speed sensor(10) extracts car speed. A storage(12) stores reference speed for blocking output of image information. A controller(14) compares the extracted car speed with the reference speed, and controls so that the output of the image information is blocked according to the compared results. The speed sensor is integratedly mounted within a terminal device(1) or externally comprised. A signal generator(30) generates a mounting signal when the terminal device is mounted on a cradle.
