PURPOSE: To reduce the number of vent holes without generating vulcanization trouble to simplify vent hole burr removing work by providing slits to sipe molding blades so as to traverse the same. CONSTITUTION: Slits 3f are formed to respective sipe molding blades 3c along a tire peripheral direction so as to traverse the projections thereof. Vent holes are not provided to all of the spaces between the adjacent sipe molding blades 3c but arranged every other space. By providing the slits 3f at every sipe molding blades 3c, the spaces between the adjacent sipe molding blades 3c become a communication state and, therefore, the air remaining between the sipe molding blades 3c at the time of vulcanization can be let escape to the spaces between the adjacent sipe molding blades 3c through the slits 3f. Since the number of vent holes is reduced as a result, the number of vent hole burrs is also reduced and finish processing work for removing vent hole burrs can be simplified.
