PURPOSE: To obtain a boosted voltage with a simplified structure by opening or closing the first and second switches with the first and second square wave outputs to alternately apply the power source voltage to both electrodes of a capacitor and changing a voltage level of the first square wave output. CONSTITUTION: A potential of a square wave output Vp2 applied to the base of a transistor Q3 is V1, while a potential of a square wave output VP3 applied to the base of the other TrQ4 is grounded GND. Thereby, the TrQ3 is turned off and TrQ4 turns on. A boosted voltage V2 is applied to a connecting point 4 to which the anode of LED4 is connected. Across both electrodes of a capacitor C3, a voltage of 1.5[V] is applied for the charging. After a while, the TrQ1 of a non-stable multivibrator 11 is changed to on and the other TrQ2 is changed to turn off. In this moment, a voltage of square wave VP2 applied to the base of TrQ3 becomes 0 and a voltage of square wave VP3 applied to the base of TrQ4 is changed to 1. At the same time, TrQ4 turns off. Therefore, the potential of the connecting point P4 becomes equal to the potential obtained by adding a positive chargeΔV accumulated in C3 to the potential of the connecting point P3.
