The circuit breaker fast breaks the accidental current to protect parts from the melted metal of the contacting point. The circuit breaker includes: a shaft(1); a contacting member(4) hinged on the shaft with a pin(9) a latch(7) moved by the contacting member(4); and a compression coil spring(12) mounted between the shaft(1) and the latch(7) to apply rotational force to the latch(7) in one direction.
