<p>PURPOSE: To minimize skew distortion and noise by allowing a microcomputer to detect a horizontal synchronizing phase shift caused at head changeover at recording and reproduction and supplying a current equivalent to the phase shift to an AFC at head changeover. CONSTITUTION: A reproduced video signal from a VTR 1 is outputted to an AFC circuit 2 and the video signal includes a horizontal synchronizing phase shift caused at head changeover at recording and reproduction. Furthermore, a head changeover pulse from the VTR 1 is given to a microcomputer 4. On the other hand, the reproduced video signal has a horizontal synchronizing phase shift for each head changeover, an AFC error is produced at an edge of a VCO control filter 5. The error signal is given to the microcomputer 4, where the horizontal synchronizing phase shift is detected. Then a current equivalent to the phase shift in the AFC error signal is fed to the AFC 2 at head changeover. Thus, a monitor circuit 3 is controlled to compensate skew distortion on a display screen so as to make the VTR stable against disturbance such as noise.</p> |
