<p>PURPOSE: To perform vehicle start control suitable for the load required for an engine by means of a clutch by determining the torque of the clutch, which is suitable for the input torque of the clutch based on the load required for the engine at the time of starting the control of vehicle start by means of the clutch and deciding feed forward quantity based on the determined clutch torque. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic transmission connected to an engine 2 to be installed in a vehicle, a stepless transmission 4, for example, has a drive pulley 8, a driven pulley 10 and the belt 12 belted around these pulleys. A driven shaft 26 is provided with a hydraulic clutch 38 for starting the vehicle at one end for the stepless transmission 4. A control means 64 determines clutch torque suitable for the clutch input torque, which is estimated according to the load required for an engine when starting vehicle start control by means of the hydraulic clutch 38, decides feed forward quantity (operation quantity for controlling the clutch) based on the determined torque, and set the initial value of the feed forward quantity after filter processing at a value suitable for clutch input torque.</p> |
