PURPOSE: To efficiently prevent the peeling of the terminal section of a nonadhesive tape at a low cost by heat-contracting the terminal section of the nonadhesive tape and fixing it to the outer periphery of a wire harness. CONSTITUTION: A nonadhesive tape 3 is half-lap-wound in the direction of an arrow A on the outer periphery of a wire harness W/H bundled with number of electric wires 1. A terminal section 5 is overlapped on the tape 3 rewound in the direction of an arrow B. The wire harness W/H wound with the tape 3 is held by jigs 10A, 10B erected on a plate 9, and the terminal section 5 is held by a jig 12. The plate 9 is moved to locate the jig 12 at the position facing the jig 19 of a heating device 14, and the terminal section 5 is surrounded by U-shaped hold sections 15, 21 of them. When the terminal section 5 is heated to 250 deg.C by a heat source 20, the tape 3 is heat-contracted and fixed to the wire harness W/H. No separate member is required for preventing peeling, and the cost can be reduced. |
