PURPOSE: To set plural kinds of tape-like coated optical fibers having different width by curving the inside surface of a projection so that it can press the tape-like coated optical fiber having the different width. CONSTITUTION: In this tape-like coated optical fiber supply cassette 15, the inside surface 33 of the projection 31 of a pressing lever 23, which prevents the tape-like coated optical fiber 17 from coming off from a coated optical fiber attaching groove 19, may be formed to be a curved surface which is gradually lowered as it goes away from a shaft pin 27. Then, a distance between the innermost part of the groove 19 and the projection 31 of the lever 23 is changed by the angle of the lever 23, so that the coated optical fiber 17 is pressed at a specified angle by the lever 23 not only in the case the width of the coated optical fiber 17 is narrow but also in the case it is wide. Thus, many kinds of cassettes need not be prepared and the cassette is easily controlled. |
