PURPOSE: To surely prevent the water immersion of a core wire constituted of a strand of plural conductor element wires. CONSTITUTION: Highly hygroscopic resin powder 11 is stuck on the outer periphery of twisted conductor strands 3-9, and the highly hygroscopic resin powder 11 is filled between the conductor strands 3-9. When water infiltrates from the terminal of this electric wire, the highly hygroscopic resin powder 11 is expanded to cut off water immersion. A means feeding a solution diluted with the highly hygroscopic resin powder by a solvent is installed on a conveyance path guiding multiple conductor strands for the electric wire to a twisting die, the solution is sprayed to the conductor strands by the feeding means before the plural conductor strands are twisted, and the solution is stuck on the outer periphery of the conductor strands. After the conductor strands 3-9 pass through the twisting die and are twisted, they are heated and dried by a drier. |
