PURPOSE: To always make constant the detection sensitivity of a piezoelectric vibration gyro by providing an electrical heating element on a circuit substrate and casing using the substrate and the vibrator with a heat-insulating material. CONSTITUTION: An electrical heating element is provided on a circuit substrate 9 where a piezoelectric vibrator 1 is mounted and the case of the substrate 9 and the vibrator 1 is constituted of a metal case 19 inside and a heat- insulating material 20 outside. Then, by properly selecting the electrical heating element 18, keeping the temperature inside a gyro high, making uniform the temperature inside the case 19, and covering the outside with the heat-insulating material 20, the temperature inside the gyro can be maintained. Further, by using, for example, a thermistor as the electrical heating element, a constant- temperature control can be achieved to maintaining a more constant temperature, thus constantly maintaining the output voltage of the vibrator 1 to be constant and obtaining a stable detection sensitivity which is not affected by the ambient temperature change. |
