A plasma display panel is provided to improve a color spot due to nonuniform thickness of a protective layer by forming a transparent electrode to have different thickness. A front substrate(20) and a rear substrate are opposite to each other, and barrier ribs are formed on the rear substrate to define discharge cells between the front and rear substrates. Address electrodes are extended in a first direction on the rear substrate, and first electrodes(31) and second electrodes(32) are extended on the front substrate in a second direction crossing the first direction. A dielectric layer is formed on the front substrate to cover the first and second electrodes, and a protective layer(23) is formed on the dielectric layer. The first and second electrodes have bus electrodes(31b,32b) extended in the second direction and transparent electrodes(31a,32a) protruding from the bus electrode.
