<p>PURPOSE: To surely eject all paper sheets remaining in a paper carrying path into a paper ejecting tray after the jamming of the paper sheet occurs by ejecting the paper sheet to the paper ejecting tray provided in front of a transfer part or a fixing part, in such a manner that a part which tends to cause the jamming is bypassed, at the time of jamming. CONSTITUTION: This image recorder is provided with the paper ejecting tray 53 in front of a photoreceptor drum 5, for ejecting the paper before a transfer and paper ejecting tray 60 in front of a heating roll 18 for ejecting the paper before fixing in addition to the paper ejecting tray 36 in a conventional switchback part. A device ejecting the paper before the fixing changes over a switching valve 50 by a motor or a solenoid, at the time of ejecting the paper and carries the paper up to the ejecting tray 53 by a paper ejecting roller 52 through a paper guide 51. The device ejecting the paper before the fixing stops a blower 10 to stop the sucking of air in a chamber 32 at the time of ejecting the paper. Consequently, the paper 21 is not sucked to a TH carrying belt 17, so that the paper 21 falls and is housed in the ejecting tray 60. Thus, the jamming at the time of ejecting the paper can be prevented.</p> |
